Monroe College Information, Chef Demonstration and Preliminary Practice in Glendale

January 9, 2016
10:00 - 1pm at Glendale High School
6216 W Glendale Avenue, Glendale 85301

Representatives from Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY, will present information about their culinary program and perform a demonstration.  Monroe College awards full-tuition bachelors' scholarships through C-CAP.  Juniors will be eligible for a Summer Culinary Boot Camp.

If you have access to the Rouxbe Online Cooking School, please have your students watch the French Rolled Omelet videos.  Also, have your student practice the omelet a few times before January 9th.

C-CAP AZ judges prefers that your students use an 8 inch non-stick pan (measured across the top of the pan) and 3 eggs.

The published C-CAP recipe gives slightly different instructions on pan size and number of eggs. Please go to http://www.ccapinc.org/locations/arizona/2009/08/competition-recipes-2/

RSVP by email to Jill Smith - jsmith@ccapinc.org by January 7, 2016
