Representatives from Monroe College
in New Rochelle, NY, will present information about their culinary program and
perform a demonstration. Monroe College awards full-tuition bachelors'
scholarships through C-CAP. Juniors will be eligible for a Summer
Culinary Boot Camp.
If you have access to the Rouxbe
Online Cooking School, please have your students watch the French Rolled Omelet
videos. Also, have your student practice the omelet a few times before
January 9th.
C-CAP AZ judges prefers that your students use an 8 inch non-stick
pan (measured across the top of the pan) and 3 eggs.
The published C-CAP recipe gives slightly different

Critical, helpful to know about C-CAP Competition Omelet Practice!!!
- Bring ALL equipment to make C-CAP Classic French Rolled Omelet
- Plan to use CCAP Arizona preferred measurements and pan!
- Full kitchen uniform
- No jewelry, minimal makeup
- All hair inside a hat (no ball caps)
Make omelet at least 3 times before coming to practice. If you have access to
Rouxbe Online Cooking School, watch the Classic French Rolled Omelet Video.
Cost: No cost - all food product to make at least two omelets will be provided
Parents are welcome to attend.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS GLENDALE HIGH SCHOOL
Enter Glendale High School from Myrtle Street (3 blocks south of Glendale Avenue) and follow the driveway around the football field to the Culinary Building.
