First, a quick run-through of almost everything you've already
completed.
(Yeah. If you've missed something
here, there's no need to feel you must have done all this. Hey, it's your interview.)
So - you've read
and re-read your CCAP application and essay. (WHY? Because you're likely to be asked about it)
You've reviewed all
of the national CCAP web site. (WHY? Now
you know CCAP's history and Richard Grausman's professional background)
You've decided on a
top school - and you have at least one (or two!) others that you feel would be
a good fit for you. (WHY? So the judges know you're both In
You know how you'll
meet travel and living expenses during school. (WHY? Your scholarship may not cover all your expenses - and ya gotta be
able to live while you're studying!)
You know your GPA
qualifies you for the schools you'd like to attend. (WHY? So whatever scholarship you get - you'll be able to use!)
You've thought about
what, exactly, interests, excites, and gives you joy in being part of the
culinary world. (WHY? So you can tell the
judges why the heck you're in that competition. WHY? Because they're gonna ask
you, that's why)
